Surrey based charity supporting survivors of Domestic Abuse. We offer sanctuary, support and empowerment to anyone affected by Domestic Abuse.
Our core purpose is to work with people and lead communities in improving their mental and physical health and wellbeing for a better life; through delivering excellent and responsive prevention, diagnosis, early intervention, treatment and care.

Family Voice Surrey is here to speak up for parents and carers rather than to provide information, but we still signpost families to organisations offering information and support that have been recommended to us by other parent carers.
Parent carers of children under 18 have similar rights to other carers but the way that some services are offered to them is different. They can apply for Carer’s Allowance or a GP Carer’s Break payment in the same way as the carers of adults. They can also access any of Action for Carers’ support. However, there are a couple of significant differences concerning Carer’s Assessment for Parent Carers and Parent Carer Break Grants.
Spurgeons family centres are places where parents of children aged 0–11 years can share the challenges and joys of parenthood. The centres offer a range of activities and support services to help you with all aspects of parenting, helping you make sure your child gets the best start in life. We work with families who have been referred to us though if you have not been referred to us, we may still be able to support you.
Home-Start helps families with young children deal with whatever life throws at them. We support parents as they learn to cope, improve their confidence and build better lives for their children. The benefits of our support include improved health and well-being and better family relationships.

The Emergency Food Poverty Scheme aims to support local-not-for-profit groups delivering services to those experiencing hardship in the Borough.

In a crisis, individuals on a low income with a referral can get assistance from a food bank. Churches across Surrey offer help to families with a local connection, and people can also turn to a charity for a free food bank or the Salvation Army, which is a major provider, for assistance during their time of need.
Andy’s Community Café. Visit the cafe during its opening hours which are Monday to Thursdays between 10am and2.30pm. They cook up mouth-watering, healthy meals using ingredients that would have been thrown away by supermarkets -and the best thing about it is you can pay however much you want.

Housing Advice
Local Housing Authority (LHA) Housing Advice teams are located throughout the country. Housing Advisors provide advice on housing problems, work to prevent people from becoming homeless and support those who are currently homeless or rough sleeping to find accommodation.
This information is for young people living in Surrey who are experiencing homelessness or having problems living at home.
